We recognise that a relationship breakdown, disputes concerning children and being a victim of domestic violence is an extremely stressful and emotional time. We are here to offer our legal services and to progress matters for you.
We offer a caring service where both you, and your child’s needs will be professionally represented.
Our experienced and professional team ensure the delivery of a highly specialised and efficient level of service to parents, children, grandparents, extended family members and guardians.
Our accreditations and responsibilities:
- One of our partners is a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel (Children Representatives). The Children Panel is an accreditation awarded to solicitors who are experienced, and skilled in representing Children.
- We are Regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
- We are contracted with the Legal Aid Agency to provide publicly funded legal aid advice and representation.
- We are a well established and well regarded practice. We are Specialist Quality Mark (SQM) accredited with an office based in the Birmingham City Centre near the Law Courts. Our team benefits from multi-lingual staff who can speak a variety of South Asian languages, including Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi and Mirpuri.

We can apply for legal aid funding subject to you meeting the relevant criteria which will be clearly explained to you.
If you do not qualify for public funding our competitive private law rates are £85.00 per hour, this fee does not include VAT, disbursements, barrister’s fees and other costs which may become required to progress the proceedings.
We will always work with parents to try to reach an agreement about childcare arrangements through mediation and negotiation and will only issue proceedings as a last resort.

Legal Aid for private law children proceedings is available, subject to your satisfying the financial criteria and if appropriate other supporting information.
Legal Aid is available for injunctions to protect you from domestic abuse subject to your financial circumstances and the merits of your case.
Legal Aid is available for Care Proceedings issued by the Local Authority and is not dependent on your financial circumstances or the merits of your case.
We accept instructions in respect of divorce matters on a private fee paying basis. However, these will not include ancillary relief and financial settlement matters.
